Activities

Through learning, playing, and discovering together, Point Beach Prep students can socialize, problem-solve and explore their talents. We focus on fun, positive learning experiences that help initiate your children’s well-rounded growth. Our curriculum is Emergent Literacy based and we include science, technology, art and math (STEAM), stories (literacy), block play, music, cooking, social skills, and executive function skills (Flexible thinking, conflict resolution, working memory, and self-control.)

Using blocks, magna-tiles, and open ended building materials children learn social and literacy skills, mathematics, problem solving and respecting others. All while they are “just playing”!

Our daily project will be based on our letter and theme of the week. Children are encouraged to explore different types of materials to help foster their imagination. From shaving cream to colored ice, you never know what we will try!

We also offer fun special days such as pajama days, holiday celebrations, thematic days, special visitors, and more!

Our single use, child size bathroom is within each classroom and is available at anytime for all students. Encouragement to use the bathroom is offered frequently.
