Weekly Letter 4-1-2015

Posted in Weekly Letters on Apr 1, 2015

Hello Point Beach Prep Families,
This week we met Mr. X and his xylophone. We learned American Sign Language for the letter x and “xylophone.” The new word on our tree is “x-ray.” We worked on Easter projects this week including an egg magnet, a bunny or chick magnet, and we colored Easter eggs! We read the books The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Clifford’s Big Red Easter, Happy Easter Curious George, and Clifford’s Happy Easter. We sang “5 Little Bunnies.”
We enjoyed a new dramatic play area- a Veterinarian’s Office! The children have been enjoying caring for the animals. They are loving our other Dramatic Play area- the theater! This week we introduced an organ on the stage. We heard some great tunes!
We celebrated Jayce’s 5th birthday on Tuesday with a delicious treat. Happy Birthday Jayce!
During Show and Tell we saw Xylophones, x-rays, a Xerox copy, a fox, x- wing fighter, and other interesting items. Don’t forget Show and Tell letter Y when you return from Easter break.
Reminder, we will be closed April 3rd-10th for Easter break. We are wishing everyone a Happy and Blessed Easter!
