Weekly Letter 12-3-2104
Posted in Weekly Letters on Dec 4, 2014
What a fantastic job the children did for their Thanksgiving Show! We are so proud of all of them!
This week we met Mr. J, who loves to jump! We learned sign language for “J” and “jump.” Our word of the week is –you guessed it, “jump!” At our project table we made a candy cane (which is an upside down j), jellyfish, wrote letters to Santa and made a Christmas tree. We read Clifford’s First Christmas, Clifford’s Christmas Presents, Jessie Bear What Will You Wear?, The Jolly Christmas Postman, and Norma Jean, Jumping Bean. During Music and Movement we did jumping jacks, and jumped like kangaroos and frogs.
Please ensure that you have checked that your child’s spare clothes are weather appropriate. Also, please make sure they have nice warm jackets, hats and or mittens for daily recess!
We appreciate you keeping your children home from school if they are not feeling well. It is too easy to spread germs and we would like everyone as healthy as possible every day and for Christmas!
A letter went home regarding our Christmas Sing-a-Longs that will take place on December 22nd and December 23rd. Let us know if you have any questions.
