Weekly Letter 11-20-2014

Dear Point Beach Prep Families,

This week we met Miss I, who likes ironing and insects. We learned American Sign Language for ice cream and the letter I. Our sight word is “I.” We made Indian prayer projects, ice cream cones, icicles, and Indian hats.
On Tuesday, we had a Yoga Instructor come in to teach us Yoga! We learned to stand strong like a mountain, roared like lions, and slithered like snakes. Everyone enjoyed learning new Yoga poses such as Tree, Mountain, and Child’s Pose.
On Wednesday, the Point Pleasant Beach Children’s Librarian came in to read stories and sing songs. The children especially liked using the felt board to make a colorful turkey and using her magic envelope to make pumpkin pie!
We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving Show on Wednesday, November 26th at 11:15am. Please remember we will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving Break. We wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
