Dear Point Beach Prep Families,
This week we met Mr. P the Pirate! We learned American Sign Language for the word “penguin” and letter “p.” We also learned the sight word “put.” We read Pirates Don’t Change Diapers, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, and Pinkalicious. We sang Peanut Butter and Jelly and The Penny Song. We waddled like penguins, and acted like puppies and polar bears. We painted a P with pom poms, made a hand print pirate, and a pig nose. On Friday we made a Super Bowl graph to see who thought which team would win.
Jake was our Student of the Week. His Mom came in on Thursday and read us 2 special stories. Thank you to Jake and his family!
Our Open House is Saturday 10am-12pm for perspective students. At this point, our Pre-K for next year is waiting list only. If you know of any Nursery students who may want to register please let them know about the Open House. Spaces will fill quickly!!
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with parties on February 12th and 13th. A list of your child’s classmates is attached for your child to send in Valentines. Please review and ensure that you have included everyone in their class. Lyla, Aiden, and Ella will be part of the parties on Friday, although they are not normally here on those days.
Have a great weekend!
