Dear Point Beach Prep Families,
This week we met Mr. N, who has no nose! The children each took turns asking him questions, which he replied “NO” or nodded yes. It was quite silly! We learned American Sign Language for the letter N and “night.” Our sight word was “not.” We read Nests, Nests, Nests, Picky Nicky, The Night Sky, The Napping House, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. At our project table we made noodle necklaces, decorated the letter N with night symbols, painted Valentine hearts, and made a special unity project for Martin Luther King Day. During Music and Movement we pretended to hammer nails, and made lots of noise! We sang Nursery Rhyme Alley, rocked out to the Number Rock and did the Snowy Pokey! What a neat week!
On Wednesday we celebrated Olivia’s 5th birthday. She brought in a special treat with decorations from the movie Frozen. Happy Birthday Olivia!
We will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.. Have a nice weekend!
