Weekly Letter 2-4-2015

Hello Point Beach Prep Families,
This week we met Ms. Q the queen. We learned the sight word “quiet.” Our sign language word was “quiet” and the letter “Q”. At our project table we made letter Q queens and painted with Q-tips. We also made a groundhog with his shadow on Groundhog Day. Finally, we made our Valentine card holders so we could be ready for our parties next week. During music and movement we moved quickly and quietly, and pretended to sink in quicksand. At our blue table we made Q-tip creations. It was quite fun!
Ella was our Student of the Week. Her Mommy came in on Wednesday and read the book Pinkalicious. She then made a delicious healthy pink smoothie with bananas, mangos, strawberries and rasberries. Yum! Thank you to Ella and her family.
On Thursday, Dr. Little (Pediatric Dentist) came in to our class to discuss good oral hygiene with our class for Dental Awareness month. We always have a good time, and even have some helpers who volunteer to get “brushed and flossed” with a giant toothbrush! Thank you to Dr. Little.
